James H. Perry, II is a founding partner of Perry Maritime Law Group, a full service admiralty and maritime law firm based in South Florida. Jim completed his undergraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and continued on to the University of Miami Law School, where he obtained his juris doctorate.
For more than thirty (30) years, Mr. Perry has earned a reputation for providing skilled and practical guidance as an admiralty and maritime trial attorney, as well as an internationally recognized authority on vessel acquisitions, registration/documentation, and offshore closings. Jim prides himself on a “hands-on” approach and is committed to providing his clients with competent, cost-effective legal representation.
Mr. Perry is proud to be a member of the Admiralty Law Committee for the Florida Bar, the International Yacht Brokers Association, National Marine Bankers Association, and the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute.

Outside of the courtroom, Jim is an avid boater and is frequently found offshore fishing, diving, or cruising on the high seas.
